If he brings it up again tell him that you are planning on selling and will give him right of first refusal on an all cash, closing within 15 days basis.

Or

Tell him you have already made arrangements to donate the property to ______________ whatever kind of organization/entity that he dislikes.

I don’t even know what most of my neighbors look like.

jerk.  the land around here is going up in price and the homes all sit on a 1/2 acre lot.  well, my neighbor told me that since i had no one to leave my home to, why didn't i sell it to him?  i was so mad at him.  i told him that who i left it to was none of his business.

his home needs to be condemed.  it is full of mice and falling down.

@shortbreadlover  If his house is falling down, then the price of land /houses are going to be affected and the prices will go down, if anything.

A house that is falling down should have been reported; is your city/town/county whatever involved?

And how do you know that he has mice in his house?

Tell him you have already donated it to a group he really wouldn't want to live next to upon your death..

@Nightowlz

I've always wanted that same thing.  My husband and I dreamed about it for 40 years.  Now we are too old.  I'm afraid something would happen to one of us and we could not get help in time or at all.

I would just for kicks see what kind of offer he will give you. Maybe he will just bring your property value to a halt it he is that bad already, I think I would want to get away from him.
