Hello there friends. Earlier today I went to the bank and BB&Beyond. Wowzer, it's almost 100 here. Going out wasn't smart, but the Lord protected me and I got my errands done.
cute, really glad your flowers came right when you are going to have rain. They will perk up and be happy. We need to water here, but that's DD's department now. 
It's clear that you have become a favorite at HSN from the many years of ordering and talking on air, etc. So happy you are being honored. You deserve it.
Issy, when I watch House Hunters International, I sometimes see people who look for housing in Paris. VERY expensive, so I'm sure your DB and SIL were living it up there. A whole wall of books with a real library ladder. What fun. Yes, I would have been surprised if they hadn't brought you something wonderful. DD's toe isn't purple anymore, but she is really tired at the end of the day. Walks in limping. The Clarks she ordered fit and are helping her. Once she gets all her work done after dinner, she sits with ice on the toe for a while before going to bed. It helps her. I'm glad she has the weekend coming soon. No word from the painter. DD called a gate maker who her sis had work for her, and he is coming Saturday morning to show us some options. She found something on their web site that she likes. It's okay and whatever she wants is what matters. We need to find another painter/stucco repairer. Even if that other man calls, we don't really trust him now.
DeLaney, I also hope your new dress fits. It's always a bit of a risk ordering without trying, but her's hoping you don't need to return your new one. I'm sure you will look great. See in on KS

Hi Issy, hope you stayed in for lunch. It's 95 here at our house, but okay inside. This is sheet washing day. Fascinating, I know. My house plants let me know they needed water. Poor things. Wish we could soak our lawns, but we are doing what we can to conserve our precious water. If "they" cared more about people than that smeldt (sp), we might be in better shape. The poor farmers who have to let their land lie fallow because they can't water if they plant!
I know you will pick out something wonderful for your neighbor, and she will love it. You are a dream neighbor! I know they look out for you also, so I'm glad about that. I did order some of Carol Hochman's items. The TSV for DD. I do the laundry, so I know what she needs. And I got 2 sets of the ones she makes with Bermuda shorts, capris and tank tops. I get so hot at night during the summer.
The gate man is coming in the morning. DD looked on his web site at the huge number of options, and found one she likes. It's fine with me and it's really her choice. She wants me to be happy with whatever she chooses, and I will be. Maybe he knows a painter/stucco repair person. This man did work for DD#1 when she owned her house and also where she lives now. He really will customize or personalize things if we want him to. Depends on the cost. Take care, have a good weekend.

Hi cute, wonder what the charm bracelet is like. Congratulations to you for all the goodies. You must be loving that 80 degree weather after the cold winter. So you had to water the plants. Yes, it's hot here, but it's only 92 today. 
The gate man came this morning with a book to show us possibilities and also he had his truck with samples of the vinyl and wood. We picked gates that have steel frames, curved at the top with some trimming detail inside and colored the same oiled bronze as our new fixtures. The gate itself will be wood. DD said the vinyl looked cheap. It will be dark with a hint of red that will look nice with the red tile roof. It will take 2 or 3 weeks, and we have to go buy the handles and locks. When DD does that, she will ask at Lowes if they can guide her to a painter we can count on. The other one hasn't been in touch, so we don't trust him to be there for us.
My mammo results said "normal". Thank the Lord. DD's toe still hurts, but she puts ice on it in the evening when she sits in her recliner and that makes it feel better. The Clarks she got fit and are comfy and she is happy with them.

Hi cute, hope you had a great time celebrating another family birthday. Glad the weather is nice. It's in the 80s here today. A big relief. DD is on her way to *bucks for our fraps. You really made that outdoor carpeting last a long time, and I'm sure the new will be wonderful. You have been getting things up to date at your place. It's wise to do all you can before your hubby has to retire someday. We need our carpeting cleaned, but how to move all the stuff out??? Hubby used to be able to do a lot of that, but we can't. There's a dirty area where my feet are when I'm sitting in "my spot". I could try spot cleaning it, but would have to get on the floor. Recently I did that in the bedroom and had a very hard time getting up.
I watched the Kentucky Derby race yesterday. How special that your GD could be there all decked out in her hat and everything. You are so proud of her and I'm sure she deserves it. I didn't know the names of any of the horses, but now I hope the winner goes on to win the triple crown. Hard to do.
GD started a family text yesterday about getting together for mother's day at our son's house. After church. Don't know what DS will think about that, but his wife and I are the only mothers in the family so far.

cute, so nice that you could enjoy brunch with your grands. Glad they have work. There's so much talk about a lack of jobs, but according to you, that's not really true. People like to play with the electronic devices, but I guess they are content to live off entitlement programs paid for by the few who do work for a living. That's sad. Such a waste of their time and talent and they might become quite successful if they tried. When my DS went out of state recently to do work for his wife's company, it was because they had to work all night and couldn't find anyone local who was willing to do that. They couldn't do it during the day when people were shopping in the stores.
I heard that the little princess is named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Made me feel like crying. DD#2 was sure they would give her Diana as one of her names. Kate and Diana really added to the gene pool of the royal family. Prince George is a doll baby and I'm sure this little girl will be also. William reminds us of GS#1 the therapist. Although he's a redhead.
It's 74 here. So much nicer than the nearly 100 we had a few days ago. We are going to call the people who have painted inside our house several times and see if they could do the outside. They are reliable, neat, and reasonable.
