Now to add my thanks to Issy for the eye-shadow tips! My eyelids (among other things) are beginning to droop. I don't wear shadows daily, but need to learn some techniques to give my eyes a fresher look when I do. I'm going to look on YT to see if there are any video demos available -- hopefully by Dimitri. The whole line just sounds fabulous!! Can't thank you enough for all the tips, my stylish friend.

Hello Snappy , an Waja, Issy ,Mslomo, Q-anu ,!! Boy yes Issy is full of information !! an my Eye/ Lids our drooping also.. Gotta keep up with all the SKIN CARE for sure an so many things out there as CONFUSING.. yes Ladies we got RAIN , but the flowers an lawns our looking so green.. we were in the 50's here.. Hi cute, we also got RAIN yesterday. Not a huge amount, but we are grateful for whatever the Lord sends. We are facing water rationing, so I hope the lawns and plants conserve what they just got.

Add me to the list of droopy eye lids...and everything else, for that matter. I almost never wear any kind of eye makeup except brow pencil. My eyes are so dry, they run all the time, so mascara is off limits. Once in a while I try a little shadow with the under brown brightener. Have IT products. Love the CC cream. It is lightweight and covers all the sun damage.

DD still has pain in her toe which causes her whole leg to hurt. Sorry she has to go to work tomorrow. It's slipper day, but she really would prefer to stay home. She will be okay, and it will heal.

Hi DeLaney, so sweet of you to wish our Issy a happy birthday. Maybe she and Mr. 6'2" have gone somewhere special this weekend. Look forward to seeing you on KS.

ISSY....you will doubtless get here before I do tomorrow, so I'm also wishing you an early happy birthday. I count you among one of my good friends. You've been with me since hubby was ill and all through the hard times. Thank you for your friendship and love.

But I gotta tell you I love Every Gray Hair an Every Wrinkle.. that I have !! I earned everyone of them, an I LOVE LIFE !! these Our GOLDEN YEARS.. I drink from a straw at the restaurants as with water, so there fore I have wrinkles above my lip, but that's o.k. also.. an yes I color my hair BLOND, as my hair use too be Blond so I do keep it that way.. as not too scare people completely !!

Good Monday morning, ladies! I hope you all had a nice weekend. What kinds of flowers did you order, cute? I'm almost afraid to watch the gardening shows, because I have nearly too much to care for now. Hubby warned me this would happen if I kept on planting... but I just love flowers!

Snappy, y'all are cracking me up over our droopy eye lids! I was thinking, since I am waaay too chicken to go under the knife for an eye lift... Maybe the silvery shadows from the 1970s will come back in style, and I'll use thin strips of duct tape to hold mine up! Kill two birds with one stone.

I'm sure you are both right, and Issy and Mr. 6’2” went somewhere fabulous to celebrate her birthday! I will just leave this here for our dear, elegant friend:

I love your fancy typed designs, MsLomo- wish I had such talents. I read that you and your husband were recently sick. I pray you are both well on your way to a full recovery now.

Cute, Snappy and Joy- I join you in all things sagging. The eyelids are especially troubling since my eyesight is none to sharp as is. I often think of buying a roll of surgical tape to use while doing my quilting squares. They do make very colorful duct tape- and band-aids, too now Joy. We may as well look to the bright side of things as Cute says!

I recently bought myself some of the skinny Outshine popsicles in 3 flavors. They certainly are more flavorful than the others brands. I better not start on the coconut bars.. I'd be hooked for sure!

Hi cute, yes we did get some rain, but today it's close to 90. Guess we are skipping over spring. Glad you got rain also. Oh goody...baby bunny is back. No family with him? You are a great example of LOVING LIFE. Yep, we earn our gray hair and wrinkles, but I do my best to hide them. I think it's great for you to order flowers from the Q because you have very good success with them. Yesterday I noticed that one of the hibiscus I got 2 years ago is growing in its pot. So maybe there will be some flowers this summer. Thank you for your concern for DD. Yes, her toe does hurt. She put ice on it last night and it helped, but she can't do that during the day. She found that my Clarks sandals with adjustable straps work well, so ordered some from Amazon. They arrived a few minutes ago and I hope they fit well. Gives her more stability than the slippers.

WaJa, DUCT TAPE! Why haven't I thought of that? We all are taught there's nothing it can't fix. So good to see you here today. Will be visiting KS soon.

MsLomo, there are NO coconut bars in my freezer. Just some of the small ones. They are good, and low in calorie, but not if I eat 8 or more at a time! Must be a bit OCD, So nice to see you.

Lurky, you have the right idea about colorful duct tape and maybe even those kid band aids! Everything goes south as we age, but we are still here alive and kicking, although with care lest we fall down! The Outshine bars are delicious. The yogurt bars are also. I think I started a run on them from coast to coast.

ISSY....hope you are having a wonderful birthday. Wish I knew how to post a lovely picture for you, but I don't. We will all be here to hear about what wonderful things you did and maybe a little about your presents. We all love you very much.
