Hi cute, glad your kids and grands all checked in with you. You have a close knit family and as we age that matters so much more. It's nice that you have sunshine. It's looking like maybe, just maybe we will get some rain. Oh, the power just went off in the whole house, so maybe this won't even post. Oh, it all came back on. How odd. Except the TV isn't working yet. I see it setting itself. The washer and dryer are busy. Hope they don't have to be reset. It's a bit windy and there are dark clouds.
DD and her hubby got their place ready for the painting. Yesterday they were to power wash the outside and painting might start today. She is coming out tomorrow to be with me for my birthday. Bringing me a *bucks frap. Haven't seen her since Easter, so it will be nice to visit with her. She has such a busy life with lots of things to share. When I read her emails every day, I'm amazed she can keep it up, but she does. They are still trying to sell her place. I'm sure they will, or they will remodel it.
Issy, good to see you. Am sure Joan will love whatever you get for her. Yes, DD is going to have "slipper day" on Monday. The kids will have to take shoes to wear on the playground. They were on their best behavior yesterday. Don't imagine that will last long, but it's good for now. Remember when the Q sold Little Miss Matched socks? Well we have a bunch of them and they are fun. Still, she will be glad when the weekend comes. I know she is going to come straight home today. Most days there are after school meetings and there are always things she has to run off for herself or other teachers. She's gone 9 hours most days. I see you posted on KS. Haven't read it yet, but am glad. Those are wonderful, smart women.

In addition to the morning and evening cleaners and moisturizer, I purchased the Three-Piece Treat and Illuminate Flawless Complexion Set. Loving it all so far. "Hello" to my dear friends. DD#1 is on her way home. It looks like it will rain, so I hope she gets there first. She had a Q gift card emailed to me!!! And, she brought me a *bucks frap that looks like WaJa's , sans candle. GS#1 called and there was also a BD card in today's mail. SIL texted me. He had to work today. DD#2 is going to bring home our favorite turkey/bacon/avocado sandwiches from Corner Bakery. A girl can't stand so many blessings! And then I come here and find all your wonderful wishes and it makes my heart ZING!
cute, thanks for the heads up as to when to see Colleen. Maybe I'll try again. Hope your weather warms up soon. At least there's no snow. I remember when you got those socks for the grandkids. Me too. DD is wearing hers to work with the slippers.

WaJa, my eyebrows are sparse, and mostly gray, but I got that candle blown out without singeing them. Thank you for the NO cal version of what DD brought me. You are a treasure. LOVE Gracie's dress. She must feel like a princess for sure. There's something to be said for not having to share her glory with siblings!
Issy, I love you too, and thank you for the birthday wishes. They will be coming right back at you soon. I do know you collect and can cut stones. One day when things are different in your life, maybe you will make some gorgeous things and we will get to buy them. I'd love that. DD#1 had the blue spinel my dad found and faceted mounted in a lovely white gold setting and showed it to me today. It shines so much in the sunlight and is just gorgeous.

Hi cute, glad you got to share mowing with your hubby. Hope you do get some rain. Some parts of our area got a little rain, but we didn't. I heard from all my kids and grands either by phone, email, text message, in person or the mail. Am feeling blessed. Tired, even though I stayed home all day. Tomorrow I go for my mammo. DD#2 is glad she has the weekend to rest her foot and leg. I found some of my older Clarks that have buckles and they are pretty comfortable on her foot. Maybe she can wear them to give more support than slippers. We had our favorite turkey/avocado/bacon sandwiches for dinner and she brought a piece of pecan pie but no crust. Like a large brownie. Oh, yummy.
