Hi friends. Feel like I could fall asleep right here. It's been a long but wonderful day. In the 70s, but real rain should be here Tuesday into Wednesday. Praying so, as this is a very serious drought. There was a story in today's paper about a retired fireman who took out all his lawn and sprinklers and poured a concrete pit with seating and a fireplace and stone work. A place for people to gather and visit. But, that would be hard and HOT. The grass and plants help cool off the house. We can't hose our cars or driveways or sidewalks, or water during the day, but we may have to go further and not water lawns at all. Problem there is fire danger. This city is going to stop watering the medians. Don't know what will happen to all the trees.

DD and I went to the 11 a.m. service today and it was wonderful, came home gathered out stuff and went to the restaurant where there were 12 of us today. That's everyone. We had the option of ordering from the menu, or having the brunch. DD and I had 1/2 sandwich and soup and HUGE pieces of strawberry pie. If we had known how big they were, we would have ordered one and shared. But, it's once a year. Got caught up on DS and DDIL's redecorating and remodeling stories. The termites had really done a bad thing in their house, but they are gone. GS is building a new patio cover for them, but has ADHD, so loses focus. His GF sat next to me today. A very nice young woman, just turned 27, so she's the youngest of the bunch.

cute, I'm glad your hubby is getting better and that you had a nice quiet day. It's fun to be with family and friends, but tiring. At least we didn't have to super clean the house for company. Gaining weight is the easiest thing...getting it off, not so much. I did find an outfit that I could wear today. Glad you are treated well by the people you have met at HSN over the years. They really owe support to people like you who keep them in business and give them good reviews and I'm happy thy honor you.

MsLomo, I've been praying for you and your hubby to get well soon. Hoping this was a good day for you. Happy Easter to you also. Thank you for making the time to stop by.

WaJa, hope everyone at your house is well. I know your kids will be travelling and it will be hard to see them go, but the wedding is coming up soon. See you on KS.

Happy Easter to you all and to Issy, bath and everyone.

Snappy, thank you so much for your prayers! I appreciate you, and I appreciate your prayers for us. It's been one thing after another, and we're trying to weather the storms (plural!).

I'm glad you had a satisfying day today with the family. Did I read that you went to a restaurant called Marie Callender's (like the frozen meals I see at Publix)? I think just the name sounds delicious (I think of pot pies -- I'd LOVE to have one), and the 1/2 sandwich and soup and the strawberry pie -- yum. Yes, it's once a year, and do not fret about the 8 pounds. I would stop buying the popsicles, though, because I understand all too well about not being able to put on the brakes. I'd get them out of the house and substitute something else (something not quite as tasty!). How about instead one of those "Halo" oranges? They are quite good and have fiber, too (I'm guessing). The important part is they are sweet and satisfying! It's hard to binge on those. I think. {#emotions_dlg.scared} I haven't done it yet .... {#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

Devia, I have been meaning to wish your DH speedy healing on the pulled tooth! I looked again on Colleen's HSN page, and I can't find your photo. There are some pics of her sons, a couple of her and her DIL, and I see one of her and her DH Carlos in Steamboat ... where on the page are you?

Sleep tight, everyone!

MsLomo, it's my privilege to pray for you and your hubby and I hope you both are well really soon. There's a lady named Maureen who started a thread today asking prayer for her hubby. He has COPD and pneumonia and she is afraid. Is seeing him going down hill even though he is following the doctor's orders. We need to pray for them.

Yes, the Marie Calendar restaurants are all over out here and they are the ones with the pot pies and other things in the freezer sections of stores. That strawberry pie was absolutely delicious. Huge berries. You are right that I need to rid my freezer of the popsicles. If I could eat one as a treat, it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm compulsive or obsessive or both where sugar is concerned.

Got to the dentist. She filed down the filling that was jagged and bothering my tongue. Also she lowered the filling in the other tooth and said to see if that helps. It will take 3 or 4 days. DD took me, and they didn't charge me. Yeah.

Hi cute, hope you are okay. Hi Issy.

Hi cute, we are having a cool day in the 60s. Gray clouds, but so far no rain. This was a real chance for some, so I hope it comes. There's a contractor here now. DD is showing him around outside and explaining all the things that need fixing. He has a team of people who have specialties, but I don't know how expensive he is. She's dealing with him. There's some wind out there bothering my eyes, so I came inside.

I might try to find you on the other site. Thanks for explaining.

Really happy your hubby is feeling well again.

Hope you have a nice evening. Hi to all our friends here.

cute, I remember when we used to have thunder! We did get a little bit of rain last night. Enough to clean my car pretty well. Grateful for that. I went next door and saw some of Colleens blogs, but didn't see you or the dress. It's confusing over there and I really no longer watch it. I order Dr. Graf's products as I need them.

Glad Lucky is doing well. What a darling he must be. Went shopping earlier. Got dizzy so the nice man at the checkout helped me and sent someone else out to put things in my trunk. DD was at home to bring things inside. Scared her, I'm sure. Am okay now, and she is out at Macys. Was very thirsty, so maybe I was dehydrated.

I see the SG is on later this afternoon. Don't need anything, but might see something special. I did order QF capris with some sort of bling at the hem. Thought about you, of course. Got the light denim. Looked really soft and I like that.

Enjoy the evening there. It's in the high 60s here. Yep, that's our winter.

Hi Snappy; glad that you got home safely. Be sure and drink plenty of water and take care of yourself. Looks like you and DD will be doing some more home improvements. I still remember the bathrooms. My, how time flies. It also rained on my car, which I had washed and waxed last week!!! It is in the sixties today but going to warm up this weekend. I am going to a bridal shower/tea for a friend whose son is about to get married in the fall. We will be meeting her future daughter-in-law. This should be interesting. What to wear? BTW, I love the Marie Callender restaurants. The chicken pot pie is delicious, and the desserts, too.

Hi MsLomo......so sorry to hear about your DH and you being sick. I am really glad that the both of you are feeling better, and you will be in my prayers--always. I hear you about Dimitri--too many temptations. I must say that his eye shadow primer and setting powder is "the bomb dot com". My eye shadow looks fresh and beautiful all day. I also discovered in a kit my latest favorite lipstick color. It is the caviar lip cream in "Scarlet". It is so pretty, and I think that I like it better than "Red Heat" or at least just as much. It is a little bit darker than Red Heat but stays on all day (lip stain/cream). Please take care of yourself and your DH. BTW, I haven't been watching Suzanne on Dancing.........

Hi Cute. Good to see you here, too. How is your DD doing? Will you be able to see her soon?

Hello, Delaney; glad that you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. Hi Waja--so cute about little Gracie thinking that her Easter dress was going to be her flower girl dress. I know that she will look adorable. Hi AgnesAnn, QAnu, Hilo, Lurky, Danky and all of the wonderful ladies of the Q. Will be back later.
