Re: getting along

@moonandthestars,

No, I couldn't go because too young but my sister went.

I don't think I would have liked being there though. So long and crowded and muddy I'd heard.

I have watched lots of videos of so many of the songs. It was pretty amazing. Did you get to go?

Hey that would make another great thread!

"Did you get to go to Woodstock?"

I would love to hear people's experiences.

But tomorrow is another day.

I see you have these dreams as I do!  I tell DH all the time ---- if people would just respect each other and treat each other as they feel they should be treated, most of these horrible issues would be solved.

When I first saw the thread title I just assumed it was referencing QVC forum posters and not the bigger, vast real world.

And my immediate thought was "that will never happen here."

@on the bay   No I didn't go.  I was too young also.    In my head I wish I was there! I know it was probably better not to be. Maybe.   Too crazy!  So much great music tho.  It was such an event.  Meaningful and such a vibe.   Did your sister love it?  Was she happy to be there?

I'd love that thread.  It would be so interesting....

Btw, I'm blanking right now ...what was the name of the other outside festival/concert - about the same time frame?  Do you remember?
