I have been using the fillers in the lines between my nose and mouth for several years now but now I feel like I am losing a lot of firmness in my lower face. Sort of like the Witch in Wizard of Oz when she said I 'm melting. I think I might consider a lower face lift to sort of pull those sagging muscles back into place.

Not true, at least for me. I had my lower eyelids done late in my forties because of hypothyroidism, which caused me to look like I had two pails of water under my eyes. I am now 76 and they never came back, I have absolutely no bags under my eyes, or wrinkles either. It was the best thing I ever did for myself (vanity-wise, LOL).

I don't know if a facelift would do it, but certainly an eyelift would, and it truly is a very simple surgery with no scarring at all.

Sylvia - Did you have an issue with facial disfigurement or is this just a cosmetic thing you are doing?

I am happy for you that you are so pleased with the results {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} I have had Radiesse (in my marionette lines) and it is wonderful, and yes it does last a year. That said....after you drop $600+ a year on fillers you may want to consider having your eyes done top and bottom. It is an easy surgery and the results last 10+ years, and many enjoy the results longer than that. I am thrilled that I did it 5 yrs. ago and they look just as good now.

Is it pricey, I know it depends on a lot of factors.

They say Preparation H works really well by shrinking the tissue. Has anyone tried that?

The formula made in the US no longer has the ingredient that effectively ""shrinks tissues"" Some think the Canadian formula is still effective .
