I find that what you're saying is true. Some clothing lines on the Q have unusual proportions for pants. I've had a really hard time finding dress pants. I used to like Isaac Mizrahi's pants, but he seems to be making ankle pants, and they're just too short for me. I did have luck with Laurie Felt jeans. They're cut perfectly for me. 

I bought a pair of Issac slim leg pants in tall the other day since they were on clearance and actually had some talls left.  I didn't have a pair of nicer pants but not dressy. Hope they fit. 

It was the one with the seam down the front and there were talls I think 31 in inseam. I don't care for ankle pants in everything. A pair of jeans is okay.

I'm on the slimmer side and shorter as well and I find Candace jeans fit me nicely.  I took a chance and worked out good for me.

      I agree....but the other problem is is that they tightened the elastic waists on their reg elastic pants and i know because i have recently lost much weight......

so i really have stopped purchasing their pants.
