@goldensrbest   You can use vinegar deluted  in water. I even use it occasionally to mop floors.

And it's not toxic to dogs!

I am just back from trying unsuccessfully to get spray disinfectant . Still have some Clorox wipes. Using a solution of water, Dawn & Clorox bleach for now. So far, so good.

From what I've read, vinegar kills bacteria but not viruses.  Might want to read up on it.

That is good advice @1Snickers.   I don't however, get the overkill of disinfecting constantly.

In our case we are staying home, no company and only going out to the grocery store.

In that event, we are taking shoes and coats off and leaving them in the garage (we've never been the type that wear our shoes in our home anyhow)  I believe it keeps the house much cleaner.  We are very cautious with grocery bags and items too. Constantly washing our hands.   I think this over disinfecting is a bit much, if we're home and no one's coming in, what could possibly be coming into the house?!    Being extreme with anti bacterial wipes and clorox is also not healthy.  All in moderation like anything else. Spraying packages ,mail  and anything that is deliverd to home,is using it up fairly fast.

@PilatesLover   In my kitchen and den I also use a Hepa, and Uv Light sanitizer which is said to kill bacteria and viruses. The vinegar is for floors with a dash of lysol.

@1Snickers thanks!  I'll have to look into one of those light sanitizers.

We aren't going out, no one is coming in and other than the mail nothing is coming in because we aren't waiting for any package deliveries, so what is there to disinfect.

Bring the mail in, sort it or recycle it, wash my hands and that's pretty much it.
