I have noticed problems  when I try to delete a letter, sometimes a new word pops up , in place of the one I am trying to correct. Sometimes words just disappear altogether

Is this a website issue or one with my computer?

No problem here.   I use a laptop and Chrome for a browser, FWIW.

It's the keyboard. My Amazon tablet does exactly what you've described. Does it a lot! It's the worst keyboard I've ever used. 

One day I tapped out a word with 4 letters and a 7 letter word appeared in the post! It also likes to tag an extra word onto the end of a paragraph.

It's very fond of changing the word you into thou, for into fur, adding or removing apostrophes so it looks like I slept through English class, etc.

So if you ever see me post "Thank thou", you'll know why.
