WORKING GAL, thank you for this good news. Since I very likely will not be down here on the firmament in 2040, I better catch the spectacle now.
If I play my cards right, maybe I'll catch a front-row seat in the sky. LOL
To be clear, I meant that I might be allowed into heaven if I played my cards right -- not that I'd be able to snag a front-row seat.

That brightly shining 'star' (Venus) seemed soooo close and very large.
Very bright white round diamond shaped with the pointed flickering rays (or whatever they're called) flaring outward.
Years ago, when being near a lake with no streetlights.....pitch black, there were hundreds, maybe thousands of small 'stars' far, far away.
This one last evening (actually Venus, from what I've heard), was huge and much closer in comparison to those far, far away small stars.
I'd love to see a close-up photo.
Wish I would have thought about taking a photo, but I was looking through a glass window.
Too worried about going outdoors because of all of the various critters roaming around. Mostly skunks, coyotes, raccoons, etc., etc.

I just saw them!
At first I just saw Venus sparkling like crazy. Then I saw all of them-Mars was tiny and reddish orange. They were farther apart than they showed in the photos.
I kept wondering too when I first noticed Venus. I thought what is that?! A sparkling alien starship or something? I kept looking things up-the brightest star but this was bigger and sparkling more than any star I'd ever seen. And yes it is in the western sky after sunset and in the eastern sky before sunrise I read. And it is Venus. Isn't it beautiful?!
I just read we can see these 5 planets thru this Friday.
