I just saw on the news that Zulily is closing their fulfillment center in Bethlehem Pa. that will affect about 500 people. It said they will try and give some people jobs at the HSN and QVC centers in that area.

I didnt know Zulily had a warehouse in Bethlehem.  My stuff always comes from somewhere in the PNW.

Very surprising if it's sales related.  With all of the openings I hope they can all find positions.

@Kachina624 , I feel like every fulfillment center on the east coast is pretty much in my back yard anymore. There must be 20 or more within 2 miles of me and more to come. It used to be so nice here, now it's all huge concrete buildings and no end to it, it seems.

@catter70    Are you near Bethlehem?  Warehousing seems to have replaced steel as a major industry there.

@Kachina624 , yes I am. Have major interstates for trucks to travel and get to these locations,I-78, 22, 33 and 80. It's a real issue for those of us who have lived in the area many years and have to put up with all of this. It used to be nice farmland, but no more.

@catter70  Don't know where you live but it is starting to look like North Jersey.

@catter70 Lots of trucks with the Northeast Extension. I am close to I95 and we have 4 Amazon distribution centers. Lots of traffic and lots of jobs.
