Forgot about the underwear

Don't be envious of others - specifically a friend of mine.

 Mom and I were shopping for my outfit to wear after my wedding ...we were flying to our honeymood (1979) and in those days you dressed up.

I mentioned something about my maid of honor...and her job and how great it was and the traveling she got to do...and she told me not to be envious of her...I can't recall the rest of the conversation but I never forgot her remarks.

"Cut Your Hair"...      I was actually AFRAID she would cut it while I was sleeping.    (She had some kind of phoebia against women with long hair.)

Not a "saying"...but it was a daily gripe she had until she was 97 years old.
