Is there something she said that still resonates today?  Mine - plaids should match.

Alway wear clean underware, you never know when you will be hit by a bus and end up in the ER.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

My mother had a knack for mixing idioms.  One of our favorites:

He came out smelling like a bandit.

(A mix of "he made out like a bandit" and "he came out smelling like a rose.")

She had a million of 'em. Woman LOL

When things went really bad, she would say cry, kick scream for today but tomorrow put on your big girl panties and move forward. Nothing or no one is worth your tears.

"You get what you pay for".  She was a professional seamstress and would always look at any clothing I bought. I still hear her say that whenever I get something on sale, and wonder how long it will last.

A person will treat you as badly as you let them.

When you get a job, always pay yourself first.
