Your cell phone on Oct. 4th

Just a heads up. FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) will send out a nationwide alert on everyone's cell phone Oct. 4th. This is a test in case there is every a national emergency they will know if it will work. So,if you have a cell phone get ready for an alarm or alert of some type to go off on October 4th at 2:30 Eastern Time. This is just a friendly warning so you won't be astonished when every phone goes off.

@mormel20 You need to edit the title of the thread. It's not just cell phones, this alert also includes radio and television.

and it's 2:30 pm. There should be more publicity about it, in the coming days. Kids will get freaked out, so warn them about what will happen.

@Mz iMac No need to turn it on. They promise/threaten that we cannot escape it even if we turn the device off.

I don't usually get those alerts on my Samsung Tracfone. I don't know why. My previous Tracfone, a Motorola, did get them. There's probably a setting I need to change. I've searched online for the answer to no avail.
