If you don't want to be with them, don't.  I wouldn't go looking for trouble either.  I would be neighborly.

It may have been a good idea to check out the area before moving there if this type of thing is concerning for you.  I would give them a wide berth and go about my life until and unless I had a reason to feel threatened, in which case I would consider moving.

I doubt Hell’s Angels (or the Mafia) are interested in a senior couple who live a few blocks or more away. 🤷🏻‍♀️
