Honestly, unless you have a physical reason why you can't sleep, the best way to be tired and get a good nights sleep is to get active during the day.Anyone who spends their days sitting around inactive is not going to be able to sleep well at night. But if you have active days, both your body & your mind get tired and you will easily sleep at night.

Have you heard of something called "insomnia"

Re: Your Rx for a good night's sleep?

There were a lot of good suggestions, although I have no interest in the 60's flower children stuff.  I was an actual child back then and hated the hippies as much as my dad did.  My problem is that after sleeping soundly for several hours, I wake up and thoughts race through my mind (ranges from things at work to things on my own "to do" list). I was prescribed something and it helped, but I just felt so sluggish so I stopped taking it altogether.
