he has done quite a few guest spots on different shows recently. he usually posts when he is going to be "appearing" on a show......i guess he forgot about this appearance or was not sure when it was going to air.
And Soaps She Knows for some reason did not give credit to who played the Dr. today on the 24th http://soaps.sheknows.com/youngandrestless/comings_and_goings/

Good catch DbD it was his voice I was not too sure of it, looked very much like him...
I only watch for cooking and electronic and house gadgets the rest of the Q I hardly watch so I was not too sure.

This is the gentleman I just saw a few minutes ago when the doctor was in Jack's room. He doesn't look like or sound like Dave King. I don't believe it is Dave King.........
