Re: *** Young & Restless Discussion Group Week of March 2nd....May Include Spoilers ***

No sure if it would work for an unborn child, but it would probably be manslaughter. Am with most of you that I don't care for the younger generation on the show. They can put them all on the bus to no-where. Was funny that when Phyllis got to Summer, she said, "I got here as soon as I could." HA! What a crock! If there were all those accidents happening in our town, I would sure try to contact my kids and make sure they were okay. She was so worried about herself, and Jack, and making sure Kelly wasn't chasing Jack, she forgot she had a daughter. For me, the show has picked up some. I don't FF as much as I used to. Sharke, thanks for putting the interview with Eric Braden here. Really enjoyed that. I also thought that Christine's baby would never be born. They are too old to have a baby. I guess that when Austin was texting someone from the underground a couple of weeks ago, it was Abby. Wish they would put Hillary on that bus. Can't stand her.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to today's show ! It's really Neil's fault. Your really not suppose to grab the steering wheel when somebody else is driving. He's looped, but, I don't think Nicki is , so, it's really not Nicki's fault.

Nobody likes Chris. She reminds me of some of the people you see on the boards that's why nobody likes her and they want her gone. She's let herself get to serious and she's lost her joy. Paul tries to steer her in the right direction, but, she's not ready to let go of all her old baggage.

There's an interview on the net with 'Victor' that is really a great one. Think I watched it on youtube. Where the guy really gets intimate with Eric about his German roots, his early yrs. his rise to fame as Victor, his family, why he keeps working when he's in his 70's. Maybe I can find it. Seems like it's a long interview. Shows his house and grounds and they go inside his house and show a little of that. He had one son who I guess is 50ish by now and his whole world is his grandkids. You can tell he adores kids. Just comes across on the screen when he's around babies. That's genuine. On the other hand he doesn't suffer fools and he doesn't hold back with his own opinion, but, that's a luxury you have when you have made your money and don't have a boss. LOL

Thanks for the updates, Sharke. Haven't been able to watch recently so I do appreciate you and the others keeping me current. Of all the ''young'' crowd, I like Mariah. She tells it like it is!

Christine has just become a one dimensional mess... She's always angry... She's been so ticked off at Paul lately because of his devotion to Nicki, but she can't see how fixated she is on Phyllis... Maybe this latest little wrinkle will be the impetus she needs to leave Paul, set the poor man free, and go off in search of Danny Romalotti... And you'd think after all these years, the actress would've picked up a few pointers from her peers, but nope, she still can't act... The show really doesn't need her, she adds nothing. And yea, her whole pregnancy story line was ridiculous in the first place, as will it be if they try to get a lot of mileage out of her miscarrying...

Thanks, Sharke for posting the interview. Didn't have time to watch it all. Wish they would have shown more of the inside of the home. He seems like such a good dad, and grandpa. The show would not be the same without him. I still miss Catherine. She was actually the reason I started watching about 28 years ago. Was flipping through, and her acting and her demeanor just captivated me. Not the same when someone dies. Smiley Sad

I agree the show really misses Katherine. They need a 'matriarch' , someone who's a bit over the top (in a good way) and to hold on to some sort of tradition... They need to ensconce someone in the old Chancellor mansion and make them into a grand dame... At one time Jill could've pulled it off, but they've so marginalized her these days... This is one of the reasons I was hoping they'd keep Gabe's granny around for a bit. That old gal could've set the town on its ear... I get it they feel the need to focus on the younger demographic, but first, they need to make them interesting (they aren't) and regardless, they need to hold onto some of the roots that once made this show great...

yeah, the link will be here for awhile. Always go back and move the line up to where you left off. I could spend the day on you tube ! love that place. Be the only place online I would pay for. LOL I hear they may start charging for the music end of it, but, that won't affect me.

I'd get a blood clot sitting on my --- all day from watching video's . Alas, I got plenty to do around here and things to chase after all the time to spend butt breaking time on there. LOL

got our spring vakay planned here in May. We like to get gone and back before schools let out and most people take their vacations. You can enjoy yourself more with less crowds and noise, etc. Last yr.'s Fall trip to Branson, I couldn't believe it was still pretty wild. Won't be going back there for awhile. LOL

Can't wait for the show today , that means it will get interrupted and I'll be sitting there with my bologna sandwich in midair and screaming!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
