I wouldn't want to own a yacht, but would like to travel on a private one. Also, cruising the Riviera on a yacht sounds much better than attending the Met Gala. I would skip that event to go to Europe. Can't blame them at all.

@Kachina624 Only 9? Wow... and I was struggling with the decision about buying a lipstick I wanted but I did not want to spend the money on it... guess I will go ahead and buy the lipstick...

@shoekitty wrote:There was an interesting article in the Washington Post not too long ago, about the cost of yachts. Wow they cost millions a yearto just run! It's not just the fuel, but add in crew, and a year round captain. The maintenance is horrendous, as well as port fees, equipment. Especially for the yachts the size of Nicole's and Bezos and many of the oligarchs. You can't claim most of the costs. I didn't know this, but one can't get into ports very easy either. So going on a big trip is a huge undertaking. And if you sail into certain waters you could be in big doo doo as well. Who'd a thunk it?
of course, these are not issues I have to deal with. Lol. I am grateful for my. Trust Land Rover, lol gets me where I want to go
@shoekitty A big boat is often described as "a hole in the water you pour money into".

LOL already had 2 skin basal cells removed, 2 spots on nose too, sprayed off for being 'pre-cancerous'. got couple of sun blocker masks and what some might call 'sniper' mask for when I spend any time outside.
they can have my share.
@SharkE I can identify with your situation. Both my older brother and sister have had basal cell spots removed, Sis has also had squamous cell spot taken off. My family has mostly Irish in our ancestry, so we all expect this to happen. I started using sunscreen many years ago but it took a long time to find the kind that works best for my sensitive skin. Zinc based products work best for me. Sadly this means anything I touch after re-application gets white! Ugh.

my problem is I'm old LOL and never had a problem before but their popping out now. I use only that around 50.00 tube Shisedo 50 SPF stuff
doesn't burn your eyes, goes into your skin fast. It's pricey, but, better then cancer. That cheap stuff runs down your forehead into your eyes and lays on top of your face and smells gets on your hands , greasy mess.
My sunroof has never been opened hahahhahahhahahah

I wouldn't want to own one, but I would like to travel on one just for the experience~! Especially in the South of France, or the Italian Riviera!!
