If I knew all the sand was about to run out of my hourglass, I would like to have a grilled loaded burger, with cheese, a plate of onion rings and a chocolate milkshake.   While my burger is being cooked, I would like to gnosh on a box of donut holes and unlimited Coca-Cola.  Pie would be my dessert choice; pecan, chocolate, and coconut cream.

Unless I find myself in prison with a death sentence I probably won't know it is my last meal. Hopefully, I won't.

Raw oysters and caviar  with Sauvignon Blanc wine for appetizer

White tuna, yellowtail and salmon sashimi with hot sake

A Caprese salad

Cherry pie with a Baily's and coffee for dessert

A couple of cigarettes--hey it's my last meal. I can have stuff I gave up since I'm not going to be around any more!    Woman Very Happy

Mmmmmm.....a couple of cigarettes!  I always said if I was dying, I'd start smoking again.  Hahahaha  I wouldn't, of course, but after 11 years, I still miss it sometimes!

I said the same thing or if if I get so old it doesn't matter any more.  The thought probably sounds better than actually doing it though!   Woman Happy

Re: YOUR LAST MEAL

[ Edited ]

A bottle of Veuve Clicquot for me as well. Lobster bisque from The Enterprise Fish Company. A good-sized broiled lobster tail, a loaded baked potato or scalloped potatoes, broiled veggies. For dessert - so many things! - but I think a bread pudding or sticky toffee pudding with a warm vanilla rum custard sauce. And then of course, a reprieve.

Oh goodness for me it would be a perfectly prepared hamburger and fries (and please know there are a couple of drive thru's that qualify for that honor) . . . Smiley Happy

To be honest, I don't give a lot of thought about my last anything but this would be fine as my last cuisine as my cooking skills are sporadic at best . . . Smiley Happy

I hope the situation never arises, but what would you want for your "last meal"?

i think I'd want filet mignon med. rare, baked potato (loaded), wedge (w/ blue cheese dressing, etc.), fried onion rings, a fresh out of the oven loaf of French bread & dessert would be strawberry shortcake or Boston Cream Pie. Love to hear your favorites.

You covered all my bases.
