I have two PBS here too - one from Philadelphia and one from New Jersey.

I think I can get ShopHQ on Roku but I'm not sure; I've never looked.

I often forget they are still on--that channel is so hard for me the watch and am not a fan of the Dubrows and that person with the black hair tossing it around all the time---I won't miss it at all--

Re: Xfinity/Comcast dropping ShopHQ

I rarely watch The Watch Channel.  Sometimes they sold $100-$200 designer sunglasses. The way I lose sunglasses that would be nuts for me.  It won't be missed by me.

Oh No!!!

That's my go to place to shop when I want a watch the size of a hubcap from a

1955 Buick, with enough knobs and dials to rival the dashboard of the Space Shuttle!!

Drat!!!

Also...How will I get by without that seizure inducing McKenzieChilds stuff?!?!?!?

Re: Xfinity/Comcast dropping ShopHQ

Not sure how many of you only shop online and do NOT watch their show live (me!) but they have been asking HOW you shop when you do the online check out.

The options were TV, online, streaming, phone and a few others. Depending on your answer, they would ask what cable company and something else. I always checked online or YouTube because I RARELY watch TV and if I am, it won't be non-stop commercials.

Perhaps this is why they're asking and not being on certain cable channels may not be a big deal to them. Can always ask CS.

Customers can still view and shop online.  I don't watch any shopping channels on TV anymore.

Re: Xfinity/Comcast dropping ShopHQ

The funniest part about this is Comcast is basically dropping their OWN channel. They still own a 12.5% stake in ShopHQ from the time back in the early 2000s when the channel was branded ShopNBC.

Sure it's only a minor stake but it's hilarious to see a company remove their own channel from their service.

I'm disappointed, I like their diamond and gold shows. At least I can still watch on their website.

Re: Xfinity/Comcast dropping ShopHQ

Try one of those TV antennas.........Buy in person at a store, carefully open the package.

Scan all channels on via your remote.

See if you are able to access ShopHQ and the channels you would like.

If not, and if the store accepts refunds, return for a refund.

Make sure you ask the store manager re: refunds if you aren't able to access your favorite channels.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
