After living through Hurricane Sandy and watching the destruction of my entire area on TV while staying at my DD's after we were evacuated...I can tell you the last thing on my mind was posting anywhere...... or even thinking about a computer. I find that really hard to believe.

Posting from the ER is equally as bizarre to me. When I am in the Emergency Room I am more concerned about the emergency at hand....but I guess some people think differently.

First came ER Doc. That happened right before I starting posting. Then came Farley, and the fire. She was supposedly posting during the fire and her husband's injury fighting it. The heating pad story came from yet another poster who lived out west. Farley lived in southern Maryland, not too far from me.

Was the heating pad poster (from California) the same poster who wrote personalized children books? That one was always asking posters their grandchildrens' names, so she could personalize a book. (yeah, right)

There are probably a few posters working on that right now. Shouldn't be long before one of them come out.

My only recollection about the woman's house fire from the malfunctioning heating pad was that her father lived in close proximity and she would have to move in with him, with trepidation. They had a difficult relationship.

Yes, I'm almost positive she lived in Cali. I didn't want to say so in case I was wrong, but your post reinforces my belief that she lived there.

OFPS, that's just what I'd do--post here while my house was burning down.

*sigh*
