You can bet I would have and I would also have been over and asking her were in the he-- is she trying to pound her way to? I would have told her if you trying to see what is in my home for heavens sake knock on the door I will let you in, you don't need to pound you way in. You know Ford I am feeling bad for you. This kind of stuff you don't need or deserve.
I'm afraid to confront her, cater. As I said, she is a big woman and one push could break my back. It's been quiet now since it stopped late this morning (or early afternoon). Maybe she is taking a nap or the Manager called her. I wish they would let me know what is happening.

I don't think they will let you know any thing they probably don't want her to figure out who really got them there.

Very true. They obviously know I was not the original complainer, but my call today certainly corroborated what has been going on. And I expressed fear, where the original complainer might have been more angry. If it stops, I will find out sooner or later. And I will certainly be aware if she starts moving out.

Thanks, Pqfan. It surely did come out of nowhere, so I don't think it really has anything to do with me personally. There is something wrong with her, to what extent, I don't know.

Ford, if she starts moving out, she may start pulling all those nails out of the wall. Let's hope the wall doesn't crumble when she does! (Just kidding.) Keep us informed about what happens. This is an interesting (and goofy) situation!

Next time your daughters are over, have them reach out to several of the other "nice" neighbors to exchange emergency contact information You are right, you need to have at least one of their phone numbers.
^^^ This! Very important and good advice. Ford I have been following this ordeal but have not yet posted. I am agonizing over it for you though. Just want to add that if it starts in again at all at any level, bypass management and maintenance and call the police immediately. It's not a holiday for the police department.

Good advice, MrsSweetieBear and Lil spot. I plan to follow through with that.

No doubt!! If one lives long enough, one can encounter many strange situations!!
So many safety features incorporated into this building. I never thought I would be experiencing anything that would actually frighten me! The Police Department sits on the lot right in front of us!! We share a driveway for Pete's Sake!!

Ford, I'm glad you called and received a response. If I found myself in this situation, I probably would've asked for a callback from management/maintenance to let me know the status because it truly has escalated beyond the simple noise-ordinance-violation category. I agree with the others and will repeat what I said earlier: the non-emergency police number is there for citizens to use in cases like this. They can provide good advice.
Sending good vibes in your direction, Ford.
Please be careful.
