I don't power down so to speak but I am also not a constant on the computer, tv or cell phone person.  My cell stays on always in case of an emergency situation.   I don't mind the weekends but I admit I also like weekdays better as they are quieter (in normal times) when most people would be working and the kids in school.   I always do my errands during the week and that's when we like to dine out too.  We never go out on holidays or for example Mothers day.  We went out last weekend instead for a Sunday brunch with friends to celebrate.   Service is never as good when the restaurants are too busy.

No, I don't think I have ever shut down.  Life just rolls on.

..I work from home only go into the office on occasion, so the scenery usually doesnt change much for the weekend. I may venture out to a friend's house to play cards or watch a movie.....my friends and I order take out instead of dinning in a restaurant these days....Sometimes we will go for a drive, in the spring we like to see the fields of beautiful spring Texas wildflowers and take photos..  I still try to make the weekend special even if I chose to stay home instead of going somewhere (like our rainy rainy weekend last week)....Yes, weekend TV is awful, so Ill rent a movie or have a good book on standby to read..... I have a special meal delivered .....In the fall I watch FOOTBALL! 

I do shut down my work computer, and dont check the work emails on the weekends. I dont shut down my personal computer/phone/personal emails/texts so I can stay in touch with what's happening since my friends/family are always on social media.......
