Same here; it's cheaper, more comfortable and one can pause it to take potty breaks. Plus you can be in your jammies while watching ![]()

I'm glad that I had common sense parents who didn't scare me to death in a very loud movie theater, not for young children to watch to begin with. Actually, Snow White was scary enough for me, let alone whatever violence, etc. that they are showing adults now-a-days.

Absolutely! You could lay the little one down, and have snacks and a great time watching Netflix or redbox..everyone would be happier! We didn't have that when my kids were young! I only took them to movies they wanted to see..they were always quiet too! I used to be a hostess at a restaurant..I could'nt believe how parents would let their kids run through the restaurant and tear up the restroom..they completely ignored them!

Man came in with a big lab type dog and went to the upper most seating. the dog got comfortable on the floor and was not heard from until the end of the movie. Better than disruptive patrons for sure.
It was most likely a service dog, not just the man's family pet. He may have had a disability that was not obvious. I agree however, the older I get I find that I like dogs better than most people.

I too think that may have been a service dog. Because when we saw another movie a few months ago, there was a service dog there with 2 women. I might add the dog laid down quietly through the entire movie!
And PS) Sorry for my mistakes in my original post. I was so mad I guess I didn't proof read before posting!
Thanks again for the replies. If I hear from the theatre tomorrow I will post back.

Hey Shorty, hope you hear back from the movie theatre and it's positive news. Surely, they could give you and your husband some free passes to another showing and perhaps a gift certificate for some goodies.
That would be doing good business.

These are some selfish parents. They put their own wants before those of their children and other movie goers. No infant or toddler has any business being at a movie. It is too difficult for them because they have no attention span. It just isn't something they would enjoy at all. Shame on these selfish parents.

I agree!! I remember a couple years back a few women brought their babies, and toddler and a young child (7) to see SATC!! The young child kept asking "mommmmeee when can we goooooo?" It is selfish.
Some one complained and the crying baby, and the young girl's Mom were called out by a Usher, and they didn't come back
You can get your $ back if these problems arise or talk to management. But to put any employee, or manager through the embarrassment of having to ask a customer to leave is mind boggling.
You are right Irish, one word, selfish!
