Have you not read the fashion board - they go on and on and on about QVc clothes and shoes not being stylish enough or young enough for them/.
"Young enough" is a subjective term.
The Q structure doesn't fit into the philosophy of Milennials. It isn't green, personalized, etc.

There will always be people who are poor of any and all ages and in every society unfortunately. That is not the majority of the population though.

Please, not another pity party.
I agree with the article. The younger generation is saddled with college loans, home loans and car loans.

Young people don't watch a lot of TV. When they do, I'm pretty sure they're not tuning into QVC. Their products reflect that.

Seniors may buy 2/3 of all new cars because many families lease new cars or buy newer model used cars.
As a 63 year old, I can honestly say there isn't much, in the way of QVC offerings, that interests me or my husband.

I don't see anything earth shattering in this.
The more subtle question would be ""why does QVC assume that all those over 50 are only interested in ""comfortable"" shoes and conservative fashions?"" The Boomer label is diverse and covers more than one generation. What the 70 year old desires is not necessarily what the 50 or 60 year old wants.
I think they could do a better job in researching the nuances of their core customer's age groups.
