A week or two ago, a 13 year old girl, in my area, told the police that she was s*xually assaulted while walking down her street. They put the story on all the local news, and interviewed women in her neighborhood, who all said that they were afraid to walk down the street now, and afraid for their daughters, until the man responsible was caught.

Well, a day or 2 ago, the police said that the girl admitted that she made the whole thing up! They had spent so much time on that case.

A month or 2 ago, the same thing happened with another young girl, and once again she had made up the story! This latest one said that she did it to get attention.

In another recent case, here in south Florida, 3 young sports stars, from a prominent school, were on vacation in the Bahamas, and two 17 year old girls accused the boys of r*ping them. The boys were arrested and it was in all of the local news media. The boys kept insisting that the girls were never forced to do anything and were very willing to do it.

The police recently said that it was the father of one of the girls who put them up to it! He was trying to get money out of it.

This kind of thing keeps happening now, and it makes it harder and harder for genuine victims to be believed! I was very skeptical of the 13 year old girl's story. I couldn't help it. I kept thinking that she might have made the whole thing up, and it turned out to be the case!
