What's with the "hip lingo" these days?  Hosts don't "like" things, they "dig" them.  It's a throwback to Maynard G. Krebs.  (If you know who that is, you know what I mean)  Are they going to start thinking every is "groovey" in a few years....gheeze!  Carolyn Gracie gets a pass for her play on words for her blog, "I dig gardening", cute play on words.

The new fellow with the grey sideburns DIGS  everything...  thinks everything is GROOVy and says the word BEAUTIFUL a million times each show.  He is very predictable in what he says everytime he is on.

I have been fortunate to miss "digging" it.  However, I've been "diving deeper" many, many times, "if you will".

Can you tell I've been off this week and have watched some all day things I typically miss, like designer jewelry day?!

I think everything old is new or they are just catering to their audience as that was definitely one of the cool words of our time.I guess the boomers added some words to the urban dictionary.
