I'm in mid-Michigan: my QVC orders always arrive promptly.

I ordered the Thurs., 10/30 TSV TracFone and it was delivered on Monday, Nov. 3rd. Much better delivery than usual.

My QVC orders have been coming faster than usual of late. However, my HSN orders are just the opposite. It's a rare occurrence with HSN that my orders are shipped out quickly. Usually it's 3-4 days before they ship and most of their orders do that UPS/USPS thing, so tack on an extra day for that.

I ordered something and tried to cancel a few hours later. but was told t was already in process and couldn't be cancelled. And yet I have had things "in process" for days that could still be cancelled.

For a while, if things were "in process" for more than 3 days, I just cancelled them. I get tired of waiting for something and go elsewhere.

QVC doesn't have to. Apparently, Amazon has cornered those who have to have what they buy immediately.

I almost never care when what I order arrives because almost everything I do buy nowadays is long contemplated and 2 extra days doesn't matter so much. Yes, for me, QVC usually takes 4 days - or perhaps 5.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens to Amazon as the Prime cost increase sets in. My first year ends in January. Right now, I'm thinking I will not renew. When I look at how I used Prime throughout the year, I just can't see I need to spend that $99, and I'm assuming if I do decide I need it, I can always rejoin.

The Q shipping process, from how information (or lack of information) is displayed online for tracking, to the amount of time it takes to get to me is the #1 reason I don't shop here anymore. I used to shop all of the time, sometimes several orders per week. Been a customer since the beginning of time. If I do buy, and that a big if, it will, only be something that is not available anywhere else, and it better be something pretty darn special that I absolutly have to have. A huge corporation that can't figure their shipping problems out speaks volumes to me, and this shipping mess has been going on for over 10 years (maybe longer). If they can't figure out this disorganization in the process....which shipping is the bread and butter of their business because it's not like they have stores you can walk into for purchases....think about how they may run the rest of their internal organization. Profits are down, not only because they have decreased sales, but because of the sloppy way they run their business internally. Edit by me -spelling.

My QVC orders ship out pretty quickly, sometimes amazingly fast. I have no problems with delivery times. Amazon Prime is so fast that it's almost spooky at times. Last week, I ordered a top late Sunday afternoon and it was in my mailbox when I got home from work on Tuesday. It's almost like Amazon has a wharehouse at the end of my street...lol

Me too. I ordered bedlinen yesterday afternoon, and woke up to an email saying it shipped already.

The downside is that it's coming via UPS Surepost, which is the slowest way possible. UPS ground from wherever, and then they take it to the post office rather than my house.

Love me some Overstock, Amazon and HSN when it comes to shipping.
