I had to see a pulmonary doc, last week, for the first time.  After the nurse took my vitals and went over my medical records, she said the dr will be in to see you in about 10 minutes.  He's in the process of reading your file and going over your xray.  When he did come in, he had all of my information at hand and asked me questions about my respiratory history.  I could tell by the questions that he had indeed read my file.  It was very refreshing and he answered all of my questions too without me feeling I was wasting his time.
