Sorry, but I don't buy that. I'm in my 60's and get a flu shot every year. Flu is miserable, and many people -- especially people over 65 -- die from it every year. The vaccine may not offer complete or perfect coverage, but I'll do what I can to cut my chances of contracting flu.

Okay jubilant, I see your point. I've called out people for this same reason. I still think I was more or less right, but I could and should have worded it differently.

I understand. I have done it a time or two myself. I am just a little frustrated these days....when I get ready to post something and see people are already angry. I had a question about elderly people who are feeble (and not all that well) getting the shot. I just think we could all try a little harder...myself included. I am only too aware that when I point a finger at someone else I have 3 pointing back at myself .....

For what it's worth, I think you're one of the nicer posters on these forums.

I don't get the flu shot ..... however, I always strongly encourage people around me to get it.

I have no idea, but I have realized that I've missed seeing Scottie posting. She and I have "agreed to disagree" on a number of things, but I enjoy posting with her, and I haven't seen her lately. Maybe I'm just on the wrong threads...?

Hi croemer, I have no idea who is who on these boards other than when someone voices their "suspicion" that this person may have been that person, etc. But I do enjoy posting with Scottie, and I've hardly seen her at all lately. I hope nothing is wrong.
