Some parts of my State (New York) are supposed to get snow.  So glad I don't live in those upstate areas.  I'll stay in the City, thank yer.

Here in Amarillo, tonight suppose to be real cold, high of 28 Friday, and 18 Friday night. No snow though. I didn't have no water, had to call the drilling company the water well pump had a crack in it they had to pull out 250 feet of pipe, replace the electric pump and some couplings. They say it's a whole new water well now. Probably be around 2,000 or more. We don't have water bills or sewer bills, but, you don't get out of it still get bills . LOL1#acane.gif

@SharkE    Too bad there's no moisture in the atmosphere.  You could be having a really good blizzard if it's that cold.  And as it is here, dewpoint 11°.  Needs to be about 50° for precipation.

I'll be driving into it on Sunday - have to attend a family funeral west of Rochester, NY.  Rochester is between the areas that will see the most lake-effect snow - the eastern end of Lake Erie and the eastern end of Lake Ontario - so fingers-crossed it won't be too bad.  I'll be driving up from eastern PA.

It's the time of year when I watch the weather in west Michigan where we moved from. Currently they are getting a huge lake effect storm. All roads and highways were covered with a sheet of ice this morning. Snowing heavily. My friends said portions of I-94 were closed because of so many accidents. They have been under a winter storm warning which goes til Saturday a.m. I am so thankful to be in Florida now. And retired. I used to have to travel to patients homes out of town as a hospice RN. Talk about nerve wracking.

@ValuSkr yeah, you need to be very careful.  Do you have your snow tires all set?

We may get a little snow later tonight but it won't amount to much which is fine with us

I know many parts of the country are getting plentiful snow.  Who's getting it, how much and do you have any pictures?

It's very cold where I am in Albuquerque, it was 13° at my house this morning, but it's dry as a bone so I'll either have to travel to a mountain or enjoy it vicariously.

@Kachina624

We got a smidge of snow today here in metro Denver, about 1". It's 17° now and will be 8° tonight.   The pic is from this morning looking out my home office window.
