NW Indiana - we had a little cover over the grass, not much. It's so cold though! Our son lives about an hour northeast of us, and closer to Lake Michigan. He got 6" yesterday.

No snow here in upper SC. It's 32 now and will be 25 tonight. We had soooo much rain the past few weeks that I am thankful the temps didn't drop then!

@Kachina624 We usually eat and drink it. Milk and eggs that is. Our driveway is long and difficult to navigate. We also live waaaaay back in the woods,so we do prepare for winter storms. How do we prepare:

FREEZERS HAVE FOOD

MEDS

SNOW MELTING STUFF (PET SAFE)

JEEP HAS PLOW ON IT

SNOWBLOWER READY TO GO

WOOD FOR THE FURNACE

BOOKS TO READ (WE HAVE PLENTY OF THOSE)

MOVIES TO WATCH

We didn't know that we would have this much snow,just ran those errands cuz we were out.

I woke up to about 5 inches of white fluffy snow this morning in Colorado Springs. Very cold, only about 12' so the snow is not melting, and it won't be melting anytime soon.

Shoveling later should be fairly easy...it's light and fluffy.

I'm in the Buffalo area....heavy snow south of the city and in the metro.....but I have only an inch and SO FAR, no big deal.

I'm in the 30's! Way warmer than you guys!

It is NOT a blizzard by our standards...YET....
