@RainCityWoman Agree 100%. Turn any channel and there it is-the same rehashing of a story with no substance, just facts watered down with opinion every single time.
Then we have the "hey guys" group to report the news, which I thought was already supposed to be covered by those on the couch or in the chairs.
When a "journalist" has to turn to her male co-worker because she cannot pronounce the name of the president of France-in fact really didn't even know his name-it's time to shut down that circus.
It doesn't help that we have "chew" and "talk" to further promote singular agenda; no wonder we see so much misinformation and it's truly sad.

And that doesn't even count the made up garbage on the blogs and other social media.

Who the heck is Willie Geist?

@insomniac2@ I just thought you misspelled her name, but figured most everyone would know who you ment. I don't like correcting people if they may have made a typing error, as I myself do it all the time. By the way did you mean to direct this to @Ms tyrion2 ? As I think she was trying to correct both of us LOL.
I wasn't "correcting you". I was clarifying for those who might not know what you meant. My post clearly said that.
I know I didn't get the joke (if that's what it was) about "Meadow".

You can google him. He sometimes fills in on the show or does news pieces. He also has his own show on Sunday morning.

I think Willie Geist could be a problem. There is a film circulating that shows Willie 'pretend' sexually assaulting Matt Lauer. He appears to grab Matt between the legs as he is bending over something with his back to Willie.
Both are laughing about it, after the 'grab'. I don't think this would go over too well in today's climate. They were making fun of a serious problem.
It appears to be something they planned ahead of time, to be funny.

Apologies if someone suggested this already - I'm not reading the entire thread because I don't really care who replaces Matt L.
However, my suggestion would be Ann Curry. Wouldn't that be poetic justice? ![]()
