I enjoy the Christmas in July shows. It's the Christmas in August, September, October and November I could do without.

Retailers are rushing the seasons so badly they are all blending in and it's getting to the point that no one looks forward to anything.

With a Christmas Eve birthday I am always ready for Christmas/presents!! I do not mind Christmas in July since it makes me dream of cooler weather.

But I also love to watch Jaws in December which is shown a lot on some cable channels. Fair is fair.

I am not at all ready for winter or the actual Christmas season, but so ready for Christmas in July!

I love CIJ, and all the programming after that dealing with the holiday. I get so tired of days and weeks on end of nothing but clothing, jewelry, and handbags and shoes. It seems like it will never end.

So bring on CIJ and those who don't like it can wait ten minutes and all the other junk will be back soon enough!

We celebrate it more as a secular than religious holiday. Just a few pieces of decor and decorating the mantle. We haven't given gifts in years. It just became too annoying with no gift cards, regifting and all the other detritus.

I don't watch as much as I used to, so I may have missed it.

July 1st, is a VPH TSV and many Christmas themed shows, and the CIJ weekend is July 17, 18, 19.
