The team from This Old House or Mike Holmes and his son. You would know that it's been done right and not just slapped together.

Hillary Farr of Love It or List It.  She does amazing work.

Definitely The Scott Brothers. I love their decorative style, attention to detail, and would trust just about anything they did.

Hillary Farr has wonderful taste.

I also love Egypt Sherrod of Flipping Virgins.

She & her husband have been flipping houses for a long time in the Atlanta area.  She's also a realtor.

They pay attention to the character of the house. They keep their repairs & design consistent with the neighborhood.   They don't flip a $500k house in a $100k neighborhood.

They also fix underlying problems.

I would never knowingly buy a flipped house, most I've seen only cover up the mess, like another poster mentioned.   Particularly Flip or Flop.

I'm not really crazy about any of them. They each have their own styles and then every house they do all seem to look a like, to me anyway.

Speaking of renovation, whatever happened to Christina on the Coast?  It was so lame!!!  Is she still married to Ant?
