Re: Who Enjoyed Reading Aesop's Fables?

this thread is making me want to get a complete book of the fables and reread them all (actually, i have probably never read them all.)

a book of fables would make a wonderful baby gift for a new mom.

Oh, yes. I had a book in my basement playroom and I remember just sitting there reading them.   The poor lion, wish I still had the book.

I loved these stories while growing up and read them to my kids as well. Many of them apply to every day life don't you think?

My favorite has always been The Fox and the Grapes.
