I am just curious as to why he was transferred from Florida to West Virginia?
@MyShadowLove.....It just so happens that I just heard on Fox News that he was confined to a wheelchair and was wheeled into a secluded area in the WV prison where there weren't any surveillance cameras and beaten to death....sounds like a set-up to me.
I just replied to myself...lol

I heartily disagree.
@SweetieSugarPlum, so you think that is ethical and moral to kill people ln jail? Because that's what you're saying.
Suzy Q, please don't attempt to put words in mouth; it's an admission you don't have a good argument so you fall back on that tired old cliche.Or would you like me to say about you,
So you're basically saying that you don't believe in punishment fot crime? and that you don't believe that what goes around comes around?
Knock it off.

Don' t think they like FBI informants in prison especially when some of the reasons he used to kill was that his victims were "rats." What goes around comes around. He was probably left without a guard and they got him. Setup or not, will will never know.

Whitey Bulger had friends in high places as well as numerous enemies. His killer could have been paid by any of them. Whitey Bulger had a good friend in the FBI who protected him for years. His brother a heavily connected career politician and Whitey was also a stool pigeon.

I believe that John Connolly, his FBI contact, went to jail for his connection with Bulger. He may even still be in prison.

@MyShadowLoveI don't think the term was "maximum security," but a report I heard indicated that there was better security in WV.
I guess it does sound like a "set up," if it's true about the wheelchair in an area with no cameras.
I hate to think of an 89-YO man...or anyone...being beaten to death anywhere.

I do too, and I also hate to think of all the people he killed or had killed during his 89 years on this planet.
