Gymnastics, of course. Frankly, I like them all because they tend to insert those emotional "backstories" on some of the athletes--and that always makes it interesting. I'm a sucker for a good backstory about whatever they overcame, etc.

Probably just gymnastics, beach volleyball and golf. I, too, enjoy the human interest stories about the athletes.

What I really dislike is when NBC picks ONE athlete and crowns them king/queen of the games and fawns over them while largely ignoring almost everyone else. 

I also don't give a rats furry behind what NBC's on air talent is doing on their off time. NBC needs to get the memo that they aren't the story. The athletes are.

I can’t say I’m a fan of synchronized swimming.

I attended some of the events when LA had the games in 1984: saw Carl Lewis and Michael Jordan. 💕

Gymnastics and diving.  I like swimming but it's too hard to make out who's in which lane.

As a super-Olympics fan I will see as much as possible 24/7.

Of course, I enjoy the premier events of swimming,  gymnastics and track and field (especially hurdles and the steeple chase.)

But I really appreciate the disciplines we don't see as frequently like rowing and canoe, synchronized diving, archery, fencing, trampoline, rock climbing, cycling.....the cycling events in a Velodrome are amazing!

And definitely the introduction of Breaking!!

I think the most entertaining might be the Breakdancing.  Like from back in the 1980's.  I am not sure it actually belongs in the Olympics, but it would be amusing to watch.
