Admittedly, I'm baffled regarding his whereabouts.

Is he in his parents' backyard?

Is he being assisted by others in his attempt to escape the law?

Because there's been no news, there's been many analysis articles. Fun to read, but they're still no news.

I have no doubt they will find him, but it might take a while. I believe he's somewhere on the Appalachian Trail. He has strong survivalist skills. My cousins hiked the whole trail years ago and always said someone could get "lost" easily if he/she wanted.

I think somehow he's left the country.

Just my opinion, but I think somebody might be hiding him.  He gave them the $1000, but that won't last forever.

Perhaps he's in witness protection and the FBI's public focus on him is meant to give a sense of security to those involved allowing them to gather evidence and make an arrest. Otherwise, the FBI Is embarrassingly inept.

@catter70 That is what I thought too, but they said he left his drivers license at home.  Not sure if they mentioned a passport.

But if he used his own ID to travel on airplanes, I would hope that the authorities checked that out.

His family is obviously covering for him.  I don't know the time line of events.  Could she have been killed before he came home to clean out that storage unit?

Wouldn't his family ask where she was when he came home without her?

I would like to think that if one of my son's did something so horrible as to kill someone and I knew about it, that I would turn him in.  But gosh that would be a hard thing to do.
