A Coke-cola from McDonald's...and I have no idea why.

My homemade fresh chicken soup, which I make from scxratch in a tremendous big stock pot and then add to pressure canning mason jars and pressure can in my All American 21.5 qt pressure canner. Place in my pantry and enjoy year round.

I also keep myself very well hyrated and also appreciate tea and toast with steamed hot white rice if montezuma visits.

I also appreciate peace and quiet when I am ill, as well as soothing music to lull me to sleep which I keep on auto tune.

Just good ole peace and quietness.

No one bothering me at all, no kids, no dog, no husband, no phone calls.

Just me in a quiet room and a nice warm blanket and pillow.

Edited to add, maybe the dog beside me for a little while.

@threecees........no husband or dog here....but do have a cat that doesn't sleep with me.  I toss and turn too much.

But agree with the rest of your post....  Also have to have chicken noodle soup, toast, and tea.

I crave ginger ale when I’m sick.

When I was little, Mom would give us orange juice and it always made me even more sick.   To this day, orange juice is guaranteed to make me throw up as soon as it hits my stomach.   My system does not tolerate it.

A hot bath,  extra strength tylenol, a cozy clean bed, a dose of benadryl, and tv on with very low volume. Sleep, sleep sleep. Hopefully next day will feel better.

it has  been years since I was even sick with a cold so I hardly remember.  But most likely just being in bed with the TV on and resting.....

Gingle Ale, or Pepsi, or Constant Comment Tea, and or a shot of single malt Irish Whiskey.

@qualitygal

For me when it is "just don't feel good"?  If it is 1 of my 3 days of ice skating, that is all that is needed for me. Right now with Christmas Music playing at the 2 hour sessions at the rink, it even seems better.

If not a skating day?  I head to our basement gym/pop on my favorite music, and jump on my recumbent bike for 45 minutes to an hour. With my 9 speaker surround sound system, I feel better as I work harder, it's like heaven to me!

Those are my best go to potions, they work every time. But then I also have our soft 6 furry felines and our canine Lily, which can never be underestimated when mot feeling the best.

Really happy your are progressing in your recovery.
