I wish I only ate chocolate when I was mad.

I am capable of all the above depending on the circumstances. Revenge...not likely...standing up for myself...yes.

I try to practice patience. The operative word there is TRY.

when all else fails, there's always twitter.
The shooting range is a great stress reliever.
I think exercise often helps get rid of aggression.
It really depends on what makes me mad. Nothing has made me mad enough in quite a while to scream or yell. I cuss all the time and can be in a perfectly good mood when I do it.

colorful words

I have an unhealthy tendency to hold in my anger. Yes, I've had plenty of therapy for that.
When I participated in the Dale Carnegie course, one of the sessions was all about expressing anger, outrage, that sort of thing, and boy did I flunk that activity.
Yelling, screaming don't come easily to me, and I think the best way to tell off someone is with a great vocabulary that doesn't include swear words (the Shakespearean insults are pretty incredible). I've noticed, over time, the fact that I'm not a yeller or swearer results in people paying attention if I do raise my voice or read them the riot act.
Revenge? I think the desire for it, or the attempt to exact it is only harmful to the one seeking revenge. In my belief system, we all will receive our appropriate "rewards" eventually as a matter of the natural course of life and death.
(Disclaimer: This is my opinion, and I could be wrong, and I could change my mind.

Depending on the anger level, I have been known to go in the backyard and throw rocks at a tree!
Problem is, I don't have any BIG rocks.....
And dooBdoo, I understand where you're coming from.

Very interesting thread you've got going here.
It really takes a lot to make me angry......Guess that goes with getting old.......
Usually I keep my mouth shut and my thoughts to my self........ But have been known to be so angry that I cry.......And by the time I'm through crying I am ok.......
But, you will find that I do try to defend myself.......don't like it when folks try to run over me......or use me......for their betterment.....
