No, not usually. There will always be another coupon or sale.

It’s not like I make a point of it but if I have a coupon handy and remember I do.

@phoenixbrd wrote:NO...no longer buy excess and know exactly what is in my kitchen. I don't want extras...I have one spare of highly used items in the cupboards. I've extended my pantry and have shelves of plastic boxes labeled (my husband bought me a labeler) that says nuts, grains, seeds, etc. So I can see at a glance if I'm low on anything.
I prepare all of our food, really don't like to eat out so we do have a lot of produce and pantry items. I'd have a grocery store if I bought multiples. I'm working on minimizing not gathering.
I formulated my answer in my head then decided to read the posts upthread...it’s a.l.m.o.s.t. identical to your post...less the sweet pantry
you have! #jealous!
My food doesn’t have ‘coupons.’
I’ve pared down my life so much, there’s little I purchase
on a consistent basis.

I usually stock up on stuff that will last me for about six months to a year depending or until it expires and I buy when it goes on sale or when there is a special price going on, coupon or not.

I've always clipped coupons and shopped the sales, and submitted rebates. A habit/hobby I picked up from my Mom. I won't buy something just because it's on sale, and I have a coupon or rebate for it. If it's something Hubs and I use regularly and it's a very good discount, yes, I'll stock up, within reason. However, if manufacturers want to give me products after coupons, discounts, and rebates are taken into consideration, free or almost free, yep, I'm taking advantage. I call it "Couponing for Charity." There are many HBA items purchased for less than 50 cents. I donate them to the Pantry at church which helps our local community.

It depends on what you mean by stock up. If it's something I know I will buy again and if the discount is favorable, I will buy 2 or 3 but no more than that.

The only email I open is the one from Walgreens. Get my medical items from them.....get free shipping on orders over $35.....so when I do order, I take advantage of other items too. The rest get deleted.
For my grocery store shopping.....I do it via instacart....from Schnuck's..... I do get extra on TP, paper towels, some cleaning supplies, and certain pastas I use.. When they have my Folgers Black Silk coffee on sale for $6.99, always order 2. Usually the Folgers is $9.99. And I drink a lot of coffee.

There is rarely a coupon or discount on the things I use. I am very brand specific as well as version specific. This is why I don't buy food at Costco. They sell Starbucks Instant Via at a very good price, but they don't carry the Verona Blonde Roast, which is the only one I use.
The only coupon I use is the one that comes in the box with my eye drops.

Toothpaste and deodorant can be used Waaaaaay past the expiration dates. I do it all the time because I shop at Costco - and I overybuy - everything. I also overbuy colognes, body and face creams, hand lotions, hand soaps (many years old). I always buy around 12 lipsticks - different colors and brands (from Walmart on-line). They last forever. They're all perfectly safe to use - never had a problem. I never toss out anything - I grew up at a time when u didn't waste anything.
