I have not left the house since last Tuesday.  I think I will wait until wednesday or so before going out... give the stores time to restock as much as they can after the weekend. Just stay home...go for a nice dog walk... weather this week is going to be lovely with sun and 50 degree temps.

What are YOUR plans for this week?

@SeaMaiden

I may go out for a few things on Wednesday.

I did stop in to my local Food Lion yesterday and it was busy with some empty shelves, but lots of fresh produce and other things.

Lots of personnel was busy stocking shelves.  I thanked them and said how much I appreciated their hard work.

People were polite, but extra chatty, which makes me feel we were all a little nervous.

I stick with smaller stores rather than places like Costco.  Big crowds (on any NORMAL day), make me nervous.

Today I went to the drive through at the bank and went to the liquor store for some sustenance. My husband and I have stayed home for ten days. I had my groceries delivered over the weekend. The people at my vet said they'd come to our car to remove my dog's sutures after a minor procedure of a couple of weeks ago. Our health club is closed but I stopped going there two weeks ago anyway. I just wish those who are not taking coronavirus seriously would get real.

I don't plan to go to a store until this is over.  Seniors have been advised to stay home.  @SeaMaiden   You're so careful bringing in the newspaper but you'd actually go to a germ-pit store?  I'm doing delivery or grocery pick up only.

@Witchy Woman     Yes... Costco will be my last stop on the shopping list.. I need to go about once a month to stock up on a few things... maybe I will go in a couple of weeks.

  Who know what will transpire between now and then?  We may have a total lock down where we can not leave our neighborhoods and have marshal law.  It is a possiblity.

@Kachina624     Yes, I would risk it to do my own shopping.  Sounds stupid huh?

We have ample supplies and are staying in for now.

We do try to go for walks outdoors and short drives.

Stay away from all stores unless you just absolutely cannot do without the items.

I will be honest.  I have absolutely nothing to back this up, other than Dr. Fauci saying that more restrictions may be coming, but I have a feeling that things are going to tighten up more.....and soon. And if they do I think there will be a rush at the stores....maybe.

I personally would go today. I went yesterday after lunch and bought several items.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Our stores have cut back hours so they can clean & restock. I went out quickly Thurs evening but was not clever on the time as it was when workers left their sites for the eve and it was panic city in 2 of 3 stores I was in. BAD CHOICE

Went out early Friday morning not too bad but more than I've seen at 830A. Haven't been out since and won't need to maybe not until the weekend.

@SeaMaiden

I don't think it's stupid, for this reason.  It's the ONLY place I'm going to visit.

Yesterday, I spoke with one of the shoppers that do the "pick up" orders, and she was near tears.  They are doing so many more orders and she seemd pushed to the limit.

My heart broke for her.

Right now, I am able to do my own shopping, but there are many who cannot.  Is it risky?  Possibly.  But I only have to think of this poor woman who told me that she was near the breaking point and HAD to work.
