I can't remember the last time I even saw a phone book.
But boy somebody's fingers are walking tonight....here!

Not in years. Seems I've stopped receiving them now. The last one I can remember, I only opened it to pull out coupons for pizza.

I prefer to use the paper Yellow Pages. Unfortunately, a lot of our businesses don't advertise in them anymore. So I often am driven to Facebook if I want to find information about them.

Not me in years, but my husband still uses both the yellow and white pages. Saw him using yellow pages yesterday when searching for place to buy tires. He also uses my iPad to search, but I often have it someplace with me and not available to him. He seems to do fine with the yellow pages. He also uses a flip phone, not a smart phone. He has never ordered anything online....has me do it for him. He has never paid a bill online, still writes checks. He just celebrated his 80th b'day and says can't teach old dog new tricks. I love him just the way he is! 😘

I do not always have access to internet, so I do use the phone book and the yellow pages.

I honestly can't remember. I google everything now and have for years. I don't even remember receiving a phone book or the yellow pages in several years. If I've received them recently, they're automatically thrown into my paper recycling and forgotten about within a minute or two.

We haven't had one delivered in a few years but when we did get them thrown at the end of the driveway they never even made it into the house. The went right into the recycling bin.

I can't even remember the last time we got phone books but I do miss them. Not so much for individual people but when trying to locate businesses.
I know I can find info/numbers on line but if I'm trying to find a business for a specific task I have no idea where they're located unless I look at the bottom of their web page to see what town/city they're in. And if they don't have a website and all that's listed is the business name and number then I have no idea where they're located. If I want to hire a lawn/tree service, roofer, repair shop, etc., I want someone reasonably local to me, not someone 40+ miles away. Not to mention that as you find business closer to cities their fees are usually higher than in small towns. And with cell phones, you can't even get an idea of where some businesses are located because their location may not be obvious based on the number's prefix. I know times have changed but I still miss walking through the yellow pages for some things.
