I just remembered ..

..  contrary to what I stated earlier on this thread, 

..  it was *not* merely, exclusively "Beauty" Forum that I formerly, only visited since the advent of QChat/QForums.   'cause, I saved many QRecipes from way back then as well! 

  But, those URLs had no longer worked!   boo hoo.

hey,   Tori3569   I see.  Seems you've been able to locate old, old, expired QChat/QForums chats! 

      Maybe, with work, research, I can locate some of my former QChat/QForum old QRecipes again??

@JoyFilled Warrior   you could find old recipes, I did.  First, it has to be before 2010, because that's only how far search goes back. Go to search forums and blog box, on the upper right hand side, above this thread title . You would need to know title of thread or sort of, key in that in box, then click "community" next to it ...and go.  Also, you can put your user name in search box, EXACTLY as you use it. Then toggle to "users". And go. This can come up with pages you have posted on. If you are a prolific poster, or long time like me, I click several page down, to get older pages. Look for threads labels RECIPE. Forum. I knew I had a post with my homemade DUPE of hidden valley dressing mix.  I put in HIDDEN VALLEY DRESSING MIX DUPE,, many came up, I found mine, whew.

I miss halfpint  She was a lady who kept hearing strange noises that others could not hear...even her son who would go over to her house to listen to those sounds, or water and power workers. None were  able to hear them.

This went on for quite a while and then she was gone. Just like that.

I also miss a woman ( can't remember her user name ) who wanted to leave her home because of abusive dh and go back home to Greece.

Posters tried to help her leave and be safe so he would not catch her. They also checked up on plane arrivals and departures. It was like watching a soap opera take place here. I never did find out what happened. Does anyone here remember her and what happened?

I remember the poster who claimed that she was from Greece. She told some wild tales and posters called her out on some of the things that she posted and were found to be untrue. She caused a big stir with the tale about her husband abusing her and then she changed her tune and claimed that he was actually a good man and poof she was gone. 

This was discussed not long ago and someone even posted her nickname. I can't remember it now but she a had a signature closing that said "I come from the beautiful island of Greece" or something like that.

Sidsmom or Sydsmom was truly fanatic about her plant-based diet. As I remember she disappeared from here when COVID first hit.
