@Sushismom Oh happy memories at the Fillmore saw so many bands there Creedence Clear Water, Big Brother & The Holding Company, etc., dancing with our beads swishing! Those were the days.
I was nursing in S.F, and Friday night was girls night out - you can see where we headed lol.

Lionel Richie in the 80s when he was "outrageous!"
Actually I begged to go because Sheila E was his opening act and that's who I was most enthralled with.
Turns out so was the audience. We all left the Spectrum that night with the men commenting on two things: her drumming and her booty. Sorry JLo. Ahead of her time for sure 😂

Very first concert was the Beatles in the summer of 1964.
Many, many concerts since then including Dave Clark 5, Herman's Hermits, Mark Knopfler (twice), Kenny Loggins, Don Henley....Moody Blues, Zombies, Justin Hayward solo (twice), Asia, Journey twice, REO Speedwagon, Rascals, Jay and the Americans (many times), The Association, The Letterman...
Lots of others. We only go to small venues now, no big stadiums. It's much nicer that way.

Wow, so many concerts for so many here!
My first was Buddy Rich-will never forget how incredible! Spellbinding!
Then, the Beach Boys when they were older.Of course everyone was singing along.
I guess I went to more musicals and orchestral events then concerts.

My mom was a musician and played in as well as attended many concerts while I was still inside her cooking. The first concert I remember is Peter and the Wolf in San Francisco. Not sure what orchestra it was.

@Sushismom wrote:My first was September, 1970 at Fillmore West in San Francisco and featured Santana. It was SO good.
@Sushismom I also saw Santana in 1970 (In Philly at the Spectrum)....must have been the same tour!
