Been to so many concerts...but the first was in 1972, The Carpenters.  It was great.....Karen Carpenter's voice was so very beautiful.

My first concert was The J Geils Band at the Convention Center in Asbury Park, NJ circa 1972.  (My parents drove me and my girlfriend to the venue).

(The older girls smoking in the bathroom in high school had raved about seeing them and how great they were, so we went on their recommendations - I've always listened to my elders )

First concert I was really xcited to see was Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden circa 1974(?).  I can even remember what I wore - my favorite flannel shirt and faded jeans - long straight hair parted down the middle.  Great concert!!
