Wow! Just WOW!!! What a FANTASTIC cover of one of my favorite songs ever! I don't usually like covers, especially of classics like The Sound of Silence, but this guy knocks it out of the park! I've listened to it several times already - thanks so much for posting this!

We had a Wii party at my office after hours tonight. My doctor was playing Wii boxing and we cranked up the volume while playing ‘Eye of the Tiger’ since he was so into the game.

I agree @chickenbutt! Disturbed’s rendition of “The Sound of Silence” is magnificent, and I read that Paul Simon gave it his blessing.

There’s a video online of the live performance on Conan O’Brien’s show that is incredibly powerful.

I'm so happy that some here love their brilliant performance. I was just so moved by it that the first time I listened to it I must have listened to it 5 times in a row. I plugged my good Sennheiser headphones into my laptop and it was just beyond.

I'm a HUGE fan of Simon & Garfunkel anyway and this has always been one of my favs. 'I Am a Rock' is another fav. That is MY song.

You sound just like me when I first heard it!! I could not get enough and, as I just mentioned to the dooB, it's just mind-blowing with headphones.

I actually bought it on iTunes to put on my iPod so that I would have it forever. Plus I have the link saved so I can also revisit it on my computers.

I, too, have always loved this song and am such a major fan of Simon & Garfunkel. I also have all their music on my iPods.

I'm so happy that you loved it like I do! It's just so beautifully brilliant. I had not heard of this band before this. I love his powerful voice and the band! I love violins and just the whole thing.
